Mr. Nelson Amador and his crew, especially Jaime provided AWESOME service in the professional and careful repair of the original brick exterior stairs of our 1913 rowhouse. Their work resulted in a very clean, consistent, and aesthetic finish. We have always used Renaissance to maintain the brickwork inside and outside of our home. The entire Renaissance team, from the Monique in the office through estimates and contracts with David, and final customer service meeting with Antonio, is exceptional!
Renaissance performed tuckpointing on the back of our house on the Hill more than a few years ago. It was one of the best experiences with a business I experienced while living on the Hill - the job was done right the first time, and the customer service was outstanding. Fast forward - I contacted them a few minutes ago and they already responded to provide me a receipt for tax purposes. Amazing!

We were so happy with every step of our patio experience with Renaissance. They expertly managed the permitting process, keeping us updated on progress. Once work began, the crew was amazing, detail oriented, kept the work area tidy and communicated what was happening each day. The completed project was exactly what we wanted and we are so pleased with the result!
I like the people I've worked with at Renaissance, including Monique, David, Manuel, and Johnson, but twice now the work they've done has not matched the contract I signed. The first time they said they'd put expansion seams in cement they poured but they did not. The second time they said they'd remove 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches of mortar but they did not.UPDATE: Renaissance reached out to me and are addressing my concern and will remove 3/4 of an inch. Thank you very much, Renaissance. I look forward to being a repeat customer.UPDATE #2: Manuel came back and re-did the job, removing at least an inch--often more--of the old mortar. And he was super nice about it. I'm so pleased.
I was very pleased with the quality of their work and their professionalism. Renaissance repointed the entire brick facade of my 1908 row home - one contract covered the front and another a few years later covered the rear. Their prices are fair for the high quality they produce. They also left the job site very clean each day. I would hire them again in an instant if I needed masonry work done again.
We used Renaissance to replace a deteriorating faux wall with brick and they did a fantastic job, attached are before and after photos! I would highly recommend them for all jobs big and small!
